How does SCADO work?

SCADO works in three steps: add what you buy by scanning its barcode or printed date, let the app sort everything by urgency, and get a reminder before anything expires - all on your device, and fully offline.

1. Add a product

Scan the barcode, point the camera at the printed expiry date and let SCADO read it, or type it by hand. Anything missing is optional.

2. See what matters first

Your fridge, freezer and pantry are sorted by urgency, so what needs using soon is always on top - not buried in a long list.

3. Get reminded in time

A local notification warns you before food expires, even with no internet connection, so nothing is thrown away by accident.
